歌手:德国Iridio组合这支来自德国的IRIDIO组合,在很偶然的机会下接触到她的歌声,初初开始觉得这个组合有点像Groove Coverage.但后来细听又觉得风格是截然不同的.由于中文资料太少.只能简单说一些: 电子乐的飘渺.迷幻,再加上VALENTINA的声音,仿佛让人置身仙境!真的是一支非常有实力的组合!相信他们很快能征服大家的耳朵和心灵...

VALENTINA – I started playing classical guitar when I was 12 years old and I took lessons for about two years. At that time I used to play at home by my own trying to learn the songs I heard on the radio. At the age of 15 I felt the need to play in a band with other people: me and some school friends founded a rock band called Dogma where I played the bass and sang some backing vocals. This experience showed that I had good vocal skills and made me understand that singing was my real passion. I started taking lessons and I spent a couple of years singing in many different bands. I really loved Celtic and ancient music, so I studied opera singing for a while, which turned out to be very helpful for that kind of music. In 1998 I became the singer of the heavy metal band Beholder; I’ve recorded three albums with them and I’ve played many concerts and big festivals. I’ve always been a very open minded artist and I’ve always been interested in experiencing different musical styles, therefore I also took part in some pop and dance productions. The turning point was when I met Franz: he revealed to me the magic world of electronic music and I soon fell in love with it.
FRANZ – My obsession for electronic music started when I was a child. We had music lessons at school and the teacher wanted us to buy an instrument: all my friends came with a recorder… I was very proud of my CASIO VL-1 (a popular “mini synthesizer”)!! Of course I was not allowed to play it during the Christmas school concert!
Some years later I started taking piano lessons and I studied it for ten years.
I played the keyboards in some rock and pop bands and in 1997 I was asked to play in a blues band called Louisiana Train. I performed hundreds of concerts and famous festivals with them and I’ve recorded many songs for some blues compilations. Once again my Roland JP 8000 synth was not welcome…
I’ve always felt a deep interest in music technologies: I studied as a sound engineer and I created my own recording studio called Apeiron Recording Studio.
In the last few years I’ve been involved in some pop and dance projects. -

The new CD "phusana" is the result of a return to playing, writing and recording music after a several year hiatus from playing professionally. In the past, Kevin played in a variety of projects in the New England area in styles ranging from straight Chicago blues to alternative rock, psychedelic and psychedelic rock. After taking time out for starting a family and concentrating on more tradtitional, (not to mention steady) income sources, it's time to get back to music. Primarily a guitarist, he also handles all other instruments including bass, keyboards, rhythm programming, sequencing, engineering, production and recording.
What will you hear on this CD is a collection of instrumental music, mostly relaxing, simple, memorable melodies and grooves...stylistically somewhere between ambient and new age styles. The music is intended for background music. Try it with yoga, on the treadmill, on a long drive or with a glass of wine and a good book.

tramsfixions 是于1999年成立的一个音乐品牌。它的音乐风格很多样化,很难具体归类,但听了几首后,觉得应该和 deepforest 的比较接近。其中融入更多的环境因素和地方特色,他们的音乐触角伸向了神秘而古老的东方,音乐素材更涉及了白俄罗斯、蒙古、印度、东南亚等地的民族音乐,使得其"世界音乐"特色十分突出
它吸引我之处是比较温和的男声后面又配合了虚无飘渺的女声。当然也有几部作品主要是女声诠释的,总之,我听了以后感觉非常不错,如果说听 deepforest让我想起了非洲遥远的部落,那么听这个品牌的作品让我想到了遥远的宇宙。个人觉得其和声比deepforest好

JEFFREY METTLING - Composer/Producer/Musician-Vocalist
创始人Jeff 生于美国苏达明尼州.他六岁开始拉小提琴,十岁转学吉他.十六岁就成立了自己的第一个音乐品牌.他从青少年时期就热忠与音乐,也由于其独特的音乐才能,他获得了很多音乐奖.1994年他首次获得了当地的由the New Mexico Music Industry Association, NMMIA颁发的最佳音乐作品奖.在此后八年,他共获八项大奖,十六项提名,他的首张冠以elu发行的<>,在MP3 dot com进入了年度最佳40 和在IUMA dot com进入了前十. 
Jeff Mettling 邀请了Kate Benton作为了ELu的永久成员,她生于Canton Illinois,五岁就加入了儿童剧院,十三岁开始声乐训练一直保持到现在。她清亮空灵的嗓音,有如诗意一般,不时的散发着一种意境美不过我觉得我以下推荐的几首更趋于流行,每首歌女声贯穿前后,也不在是飘渺,更趋向于现实。所以更应该说我是被这女声给吸引住了。如果你喜欢象sissel那样清澈,飘渺的声音,那你绝对不能错过这,因为它让我想到了 sissel 的声音
歌曲虽然还可发现不少令人联想到Enya一类的音乐元素,但歌曲编排都渗入了具备时代感的流行曲节奏。嘹亮清晰的嗓子 更加是技惊四座,加上流丽流畅的旋律,尽显其凌驾现今大部分Diva的功架。

Universe and rainbow--宇宙彩虹,这是英国一位叫“Sig Nature”的音乐家在美国“newagemusic”网站博客页上发布的个人专辑。他的个人介绍很少,有关他的简历基本是空白。我只是在那里偶尔发现了他的这张很美丽的CD,原因就是上面那张梦幻的题图吸引了我,不然的话,就与大家失之交臂了。Sig Nature把以往的作品中一些精曲择选出来,重新命名了它们的组合--Universe and rainbow。这张CD音质很不错,是新世纪的典型风格,每曲都变换了乐器演奏,可能作曲家意图让听者领略他不同的内涵和特色,的确值得朋友们好好收藏,丢掉了就再也找不到了。
Sig Nature从1987年就开始创作音乐,“一直就以个性化天赋、创作使生活美丽的曲子”(自述),尽管多年的奋斗并没使他名扬乐坛,但到现在为止的努力,可以看到他对音乐的挚爱,以及对名利的无视---把自己珍爱的作品无偿的发布出来,在这个物欲横流的年代.艺术标价的世界---我们不在乎是谁创作的,只要它是美丽的,我们就只有“感动”两个字去形容。

《Deep Peace 凝静》(1996)专辑简介:
我们静静的坐在湖边,双腿撩动着平滑的水面,惊扰了水波的休息,急急忙忙得四处逃窜。此刻已接近黄昏,而我们轻轻的喃呢着人生的酸楚和痛苦,心情刹那仿佛天上的乌云越来越密布与天空和心灵,而落下的害怕让心有一丝惊悸。却又突然无语与彼此的遥远。一滴清澈而晶莹的水珠缓缓的从空中坠落到湖面,而坠落的过程中,突然闪烁着耀眼的光芒和刺痛心扉的色彩。偶然诧异与水珠的光彩,沉默间,抬头仰看天空,乌云间,却见火红的色彩傲然挺立在那里,不屈与黑夜的来临和乌云的肆虐。眯起眼睛,膜拜与火红的色彩,还是沉默,突然,有一滴水珠无由来的出现,划破了凝固的空气,坠落到湖面,如同流星般的美丽,看着,看着,突然,我笑了,弯弯的嘴角如同挂空的月弯。轻轻的拍拍她的肩膀:我们走吧,终究要回家的。
感叹于迷人的封面,陶醉于和声的眩美。这就是我对于Bill Douglas的感觉和评价。那种封面上的优美的风景,清晨或者黄昏,或者也只有作者所采用的浑厚而漂浮的人声合唱;漫延而平缓的旋律来体现和容纳。
反复的吟读[Deep Peace],聆听着那种平祥的和声,突然有了一种全新的感觉。封面上作者要告诉你的是一种自然的氛围和环境,那就是在湖畔边,黄昏时分无人无息中所拥有的那种绝对的宁静和固止!或许我们可以感觉到,因为我们也曾经亲身体验过那种感觉,在无人的湖边,天空灰暗却有亮色和火红来跳跃的时分,一种纯净的自然安详的氛围会让自己及其放松和恬静,看着水面平平的,滑腻的,如同丝般的平顺,而风也仿佛不敢破坏这种宁静,唯有在水面荡起的漪涟让我们知道风的存在,而那水波也是缓缓地向四周飘开,慢慢的,轻轻的,如同路人的踱步。
但是,可曾仔细聆听这种和声,聆听Bill Douglas所人工营造的意味,那就是“有声胜无声“,这种纯净的和声,糅进了,添染了凯尔特的元素,虽然平缓的,没有过多的起伏,却如同我们看见的水波的荡漾。而低音管和单簧管的缓缓的吟唱,大提琴的舒缓,小提琴和长笛的攀延翱翔,却在这里产生的宁静的音场中更添加了一份沉寂和无声的味道,而如同那天空中白色和红色的色彩美丽而奇特。
作者就如此,运用了和声和特有的乐器组合,来展现一种比宁静更为深沉的境界:凝静。那就是在安静的意念中,用和声来营造你内心的安静祥和,而用乐器更添一份越深的推波助澜的作用。
无论多么烦躁,或者忧伤,或者疲惫,心灵的点点斑斑,伤痕累累,仿佛在音乐笼罩中,人声的抚摸下都可以得到修复和痊愈。大家都知道催眠的作用,大家也知道人只有平衡心态,放松一切,才可以认真思考和面对未来。这也是我们为什么有时候愿意出去走走,去游山玩水,寻找一种意境,融入一种氛围,汲取一种营养,或许我们都需要。
对于Bill Douglas,真的不由感叹和佩服,他把人类的和声运用得出神入化,既可以如同Vangelis般的雄伟壮阔,而感觉到如同太阳刺穿乌云般的凝固和有力,也可以如同Gregorian般的平缓而流畅,更添加他特有的如同诗人般的优雅和文学艺术,绝对的高贵气质和如同丝绸般的笼罩在我们的心上,柔柔的,滑滑的舒服和享用!
